I've been a journalist for over a decade: first as a freelance critic, then as an arts reporter for the once-venerable alt-weekly the Boston Phoenix, which shuttered in 2013 and lost its online archives shortly thereafter. I'm a regular contributor to the Boston Globe books section and grouse about late capitalism in The Baffler, which I helped relaunch in 2011 and where I remain a contributing editor.
